Hello world! My name is Jessica and I am a passionate and very
purpose-driven person. I work full time as a graphic artist for a
large corporation. When I am not at work I freelance my design
skills and paint.
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and
mentoring through a volunteer program. I love to travel and
experience new things. I like to be out and about and I enjoy
meeting new people. I believe that everyone comes into your life
for a reason. Although being outside is great, I also appreciate
the serenity of being indoors, especially when it gives me a chance
to dive into a new book.
The best way to get to know me is through conversation and
interaction. A good start is to check out the rules that I live by
(in no particular order), which I thought up one day and decided to
write down.
1. Always have a personal agenda.
2. Think before you speak, as you are speaking, and after you
have spoken.
3. Do not be afraid to work for free.
4. Although we see so much more as we grow older, there is still
such a thing as blind faith.
5. Let the little things make you happy, as there are small
miracles with each day.
6. Be thankful for what you do have.
7. Ask questions.
8. Everyone is in your life for a reason, get to know these
people!
9. You have the power to change your situation.
10. Accept that some things are out of your control.
11. Place items in your space that will make you smile.
12. PRAY!
13. Know your worth.
14. If work is stressful, leave your work at the office!
15. Have faith.
16. You have to trust someone!
17. Learn to say "no," learn to let go.
18. Ask for help.
19. Be humble.
20. Find yourself!
