personal message

Hey everyone! Welcome to my part time home. It is under construction so watch your step!!! I live in Cleveland, Ohio with my 7 yr. old son. He is the good lookin one in the photo! I pride mysef to be a good christian man and an excellent father. I spent many years SLEEPWALKING through life. Just getting by. I finally woke up 5 years ago. I had the perfect life. I was married, had a beautiful little boy, and a promising career. Within 6 months, all I had was my little boy. Did you notice that God was not listed in my perfect life? My "perfect" life was gone! Or was it? I was on my knee's crying, short of breath, begging god to give me my life back. At that point I woke up. God had shown me a pattern in my life. Here is my pattern.... ....My father passes away-Iam on my knees. My marriage is crumbling- Iam on my knees. I loose my job- Iam on my knees. I asked myself when was the last time I was on my knees in praise. My heart answered " not in a long time". Iam SLEEPWALKING no more! I live everyday for God and my son. I praise and thank him everyday. Iam not working on finding the perfect life- just the perfect afterlife. My time here on earth is about serving God and doing good deeds in his name, laughing with my son and stealing hugs and kisses, and sharing fellowship with God's children. I have found so many positive aspects in my life that are so important to me now and did not know they existed years ago. So, If you would like to share fellowship or looking for a friend... Come on in. I will dust off a couple of chairs and make us some coffee. Iam wide awake and my Heart does not sleep!

How can someone stand at a beginning and an end? I asked myself just that question. I was standing at the end of my old life and looking into the future of the unknown. The funny thing about it is, I would do anything to remove the boulders that blocked those paths. I looked at all the paths that led me here. The up's, downs, and winding all over the place. One that shot straight through the clouds and one that pummeted down into the... (continue reading)
