I'm originally from Southern California, but moved to Western Oregon in 1997. I love it here! I have many good friends; they are my "family". I try to make it back to Southern CA at least once a year to see my real family. I still miss them very much; particularly during the holidays. I'm employed as a wildland firefighter. My work takes me outdoors and helps me stay in shape. It also provides a sense of fulfillment when I'm working on the fireground to prevent the loss of life or property. I acknowledge God as my Creator, Sustainer and Redeemer. He is my God and I belong to Him. I am far from perfection, but His love and grace have been more than sufficient for me. I trust Him with my life. I enjoy the company of friends, spending time outdoors, physical activity, praising and worshipping God, Bible study, prayer, moments of solitude and reflection, a quick but clean sense of humor, and honest and open conversations about anything. I am tolerant and understanding of the flaws and failures in others, and humble because of the recognition and acceptance of my own.
