Hi my name is Laurie, I am a strong Christian and know that if it were not for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I probably would not be here today hopefully as a witness to you. I have only truly come to have a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ within the past 4 years and I look forward to the doors that will open for me. 

My true passion is to be involved in ministry work - my goal in life is to live life to its fullest, to live life one day at a time, plan for tomorrow but know that tomorrow is not promised, live for hope, happiness, and have faith in everything I do. I attend an awesome Southern Baptist church where I lead a Singles Ministry. I enjoy attending a small group weekly bible study and being a support to members in these ministries. There is not one day that goes by that the good Lord does not show me or give me a blessing in some way through these ministries. I have met so many new people and have made so made new friends along the way. But most of all it is the teachings through these ministries that has helped me to grow in my spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.

I am a single parent - divorced 16 years now. Although divorce can be very painful and difficult it is through God's grace, mercy, and forgiveness that we can heal. I am 46 years old and I have a wonderful daughter named Ashley. Being a single parent is very difficult but prayer is what gets me through all things. It also helps having a great network of support through my family, church, and friends.

I hold a Masters degree in Business Administration and a minor in Management Information Systems. My career has led me to the health care field in medical billing and I also provide computer training on the side.

I feel blessed that you are taking the time to read my profile and pray that many blessings are poured upon you. If you would like to invite me as a friend I would feel honored and blessed for God puts people in our paths for a reason and a season. I am not into casual dating my main focus is on the Lord Jesus Christ.

My ideal soul mate should first love the Lord with all of his heart and soul. Then they should enjoy being involved in ministry work and attending church services. Their passion should be to share the gospel and to be real with themselves and others. We know we all fall short and we are not perfect, but that we make a true attempt to repent and walk a righteous path. I believe in developing a friendship first before dating. It is important to make sure you have common interests, common goals, common desires, but understandable differences.

I also feel it is very important to maintain spiritual and physical purity in a relationship while dating. Although we all have the desire to find our soul mate we also must realize that it may not be in God's plan for us to marry and we should focus on the things we can do to serve our Lord Jesus Christ while we are single, for we can serve him best when we are single. There are so many scriptures that keep me going, but my favorite is Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
