personal message

Nassiri, a singer, songwriter and peace activist is a man on a mission. He came to the United States at a young age wanting a better life. "I fell in love with the United States," said Nassiri. "The freedom and democracy impressed me, as did the courtesy of the people. I saw the freedom citizens enjoy and was determined to stay."

Upon arriving in California, Nassiri's drive for success was unstoppable. In a few short years, through hard work and tenacity, he owned a successful beauty salon in Beverly Hills and later a wholesale wig business.

However the bright lights and excitement of Las Vegas lured Nassiri away to make this 24-hour town his home. Using his inherent fashion talent and business savvy, Nassiri opened Starwood Fashion store which quickly became a "must-stop" shopping excursion for locals and celebrities. Nassiri honed his design skills and created his own line of couture fashion; desired by many and shown at major fashion shows in Las Vegas. He has also been a judge of many pageants such as Miss Universe.

Nassiri decided to take his fashion savvy to a much larger scale, and opened a wholesale distribution center, stocked with his own design line, while also carrying other designers, such as Ralph Lauren, Armani, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and more. Nassiri, Inc. became the largest wholesaler in the country distributing to Nordstrom, Macy's, and other retailers world-wide. California Apparel named Nassiri "The Best Buyer of The Year". Nassiri also owned and ran the "International Apparel Show" before selling it to MAGIC. The successful clothing businesses allowed him to speculate in the Las Vegas real estate market, where today he holds a large private land portfolio. Today, Nassiri can spend his time on his life-long passion which is writing and recording music, film-making and spreading messages of peace, love and harmony. Nassiri has written over 900 songs and poems, each with an intrinsic message of universal hope and love. Nassiri's anthem song "Love Sees No Color" unites the voices of children in singing the message of peace, tolerance and respect for all man-kind. Nassiri embarked on an ambitious tour bringing the message of "Love Sees No Color" to the world and formally launching his 501(c) (3) "LSNC Foundation". Performing in 18 different countries, with a cast of thousands of children, singing in 15 languages and collaborating with 18 of the most talented directors and producers, Nassiri created a stunning cinematic DVD that spreads his message of peace activism and humanitarian outreach. The film was shown at the Cannes Film Festival in '07 and Nassiri was selected and awarded the "World Visionary Award" from the Boston Film Festival in September of 2007. Nassiri is also developing a feature-length documentary on this epic global shoot.

As a peace activist, Nassiri has been recognized regionally, nationally and internationally for his work spreading the message of peace. His efforts on "Love Sees No Color" the anthem for World Peace, Nassiri received a Congressional Certificate of Recognition and a Certificate from the State of Nevada. Nassiri has many who support his efforts including Nobel Prize winners, Nelson Mandela and Kim De Jung, Vice Premier of Israel, Shimon Peres, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Nevada Senator John Ensign.

His mission is simple - to identify people in need and assertively step in to improve their conditions. Through his LSNC Foundation, Nassiri is able to foster projects with a view of promoting human dignity, reducing poverty and peace all over the world. Active projects include: Marwadi Village - a village with over 600 homeless people, located outside of Agra, India. Monthly supplies of food, clothing, and medicine are provided to the villagers. Plans are being made to build a multi-purpose building so the villagers have bathing facilities and areas to further the children's education and provide hope for the future. Love Sees No Color Ethnic Diversity Curriculum - Lee Antonello Elementary School, Las Vegas; Nassiri donated a special grant to The Public Education Foundation to fund the creation and implementation of the program. The curriculum partners Nassiri's world peace anthem, "Love Sees No Color" with character education traits and taught weekly lessons. The Cher Charitable Foundation - The foundation's primary endeavors have included support of health research and patient quality of life, anti-poverty initiatives, veterans' rights, and vulnerable children. In South Africa, Nassiri made a donation to Nelson Mandela's Children's Fund, "Players for Peace". He spent many hours with Winnie Mandela looking into the conditions of some of the AIDS villages outside of Cape Town and Johannesburg. Currently, Nassiri is gearing up for his September 16th launch of Love Sees No Color, title track and debut album with bonus DVD. "Music is a universal language," said Nassiri. "Whether you speak the language or not, music touches you. My music speaks lyrically and spiritually to the common bonds of the races of the earth." And aficionados who embrace these positive words Nassiri delivers through his unique work will be immediate fans his music. The album will be distributed nationally by KOCH.
