The most important thing in my life is my relationship with Christ - He is my everything! Beyond that, everything else pales in comparison! He is a father to the fatherless and a husband to the husbandless. I love Him more than mere words can express.
Recently, I have felt led to simplify my life and so I have gotten rid of many things and am now focusing on the relationships in my life with family and friends. Life is for living, not contending with "stuff". I love being around people and listening to their life stories - everyone has an amazing story to tell.
I have an optimistic outlook on life and look for God in everything - He is so easy to find, if we just look with our hearts. It is our commission to love the Lord our god with all our hearts, minds and strength AND to love our neighbor as ourself. Faith requires a selfless love - one that expects nothing in return. We are to be Jesus to those He came to save - it's about sharing life and giving our own away. Our lives are not our own - they are a gift from God that we are to use for His glory. Lord, use me!
