recent blog postsInterestsPosted March 01st, 2008 at 09:11pm I have many interests (too numerous to list here). Mostly I have an afinity for anything uplifting to the soul that's inspirational, builds hope, is positive, with a purpose and contributes to the grand scheme of existence. Compared to eternity our lives are but a brief moment. As a flower flourishes in a field so too is the life of man. So live life to the fullest, laugh as much as you can, love with everything you have and always remember peace and happiness are states of mind and cannot be bought. In the end, what you do for GOD is the only thing that counts. Lastly, always believe in yourself and never let anyone break your spirit. Something to think about: Wherever you go, you cannot escape yourself; for wherever you go THERE YOU ARE. How you perceive life is where you are within your mind. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Before your life reflects an outward transformation, there needs to be an inward transformation.

What Would You Do? What would you do if today were your last? Would you give to the poor like you should've in the past? Of those you've hurt, would you ask their forgiveness? Forgiving those who've hurt you, reflecting God's goodness? Would you turn to the world a blind eye and deaf ear? Seeking solace from within so death you won't fear? Would you stop smell the fragrance of a beautiful red rose, and admire God's creation in solemn sweet repose? Soft clouds billowing, in a sunny blue sky, would you stop, look up and admire as people busily pass you by? Would you share a comforting word to the downtrodden and dejected? Knowing in your life you've had pain and was comforted and protected? Would you spend your last day asking questions, seeking answers from above? Or would you spend your last day imparting God's love? ALH 2006 by huggs2u PoetryPosted February 29th, 2008 at 02:03am
In Starry Skies In starry skies on moonlit night In dreams I float above a cloud On wings of love I take to flight Where eagles soar so very proud Celestial flame that's burning bright Eternal love that sings out loud. A placid mind his peace does bless Serenity upon his face Mere words alone cannot express His loving heart or saving grace A captive heart I must confess My soul's eternal dwelling place. Heaven above on earth below A doubtful mind I do repent Securely sound in him I know A love so pure that's heaven sent He plants a seed, a love doth grow Within a heart that's quite content. Placidity of Silence In the stillness I feel your presence My soul's calm assurance All of creation seen and unseen Evidence of your existence Fire of soul's illumination Comforts within solitude Reflection in deep contemplation Heart's trusting quiescence Awed by wonders of your love In the placidity of silence personal info

personal messageI'm currently studying Behavioral Science at Columbia University. I want to be a Clinical Psychologist and help abused and molested kids.
Hello everyone! I am a very spiritual person. One who loves God, nature and humanity. I believe my purpose in life is to help others in need, in this sometimes cold and cruel world. I feel we all have the power to effect change. Why not do something good? I go to school in Manhattan, New York City but live at the Jersey Shore. I live my life between the "Big Apple" and "America's Playground" -- New York City and Atlantic City. I love thinking ... walking on the beach at night under the moon and stars ... looking out at the deep blue sea ... wondering. I know this is a crazy world but from this moment, love as though you've never been hurt before. So, laugh your heart out, dance in the rain, cherish the moments, ignore the pain. Live, love, learn, forgive and forget. Life is too short to live with regret. Peace friends (238)meet me in 32 truths and a lieTwo of these are true about me. No joke. Which one's the lie? Take a guess...
