I am taking a break from my computer. Its nothing personal against my PC. It has helped me look up addresses, compose poetry, even connect with friends. It has even helped me check the weather. It has also lured me away from important events, time spent with my kids, and allowed me to watch movies I shouldn't have ever watched. I recognize it as a tool that I use or abuse. I am choosing to put my tool down to address other issues in my life. All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

You endured the shameful cross, on wood you gave your life. Separated from the Father, you died to end my strife. You were heard in that you feared and suffered for my crimes. I have not resisted to the shedding of blood, but your sacrifice was for all time. A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, you died to set me free. Tried and tempted as we are, no sin was found in thee. You smashed the captives prison when you broke the hold of death, they rose in silent victory with praises on each breath. Is anything to hard for you, who holds the worlds in place? From atoms small to mountains tall, your power is showcased. With tender mercy you wait for me to walk in holy ways, O lover of my soul, your heart to me conveyed. Denying my desires in favor of yours, I walk in the power of grace. My hope is that your pleased with me, a smile upon your face. Eventually my wants will turn the direction of your will. I listen for the voice of guiding, a voice thats small and still. Every day I give to you is better than the rest. Every thought I take captive leads me to be blessed. No more the captain of my soul, Ive given you the wheel. I long to be the man who's character's made of steel.
